IE 7
The new IE 7 has come and it has already proven that firefox is ahead of it. It implements tabbed interface, which firefox implemented a long time ago. Taking another page from Firefox, the IE7 beta also offers a built-in RSS reader, letting you discover, preview, and subscribe to online news feeds. It also implements new Protected Mode, which prevents spyware and other malware from easily interfering with other parts of your system, and a Phishing Filter, which protects you from fraudulent Web sites. I like the new design of IE 7, it shows that the team at Microsoft has spent many hours designing it. Another interesting change is the addition of the Zoom at the bottom of each page. Playstation 3
The playstation 3 frenzy has officially started. Everbody wants one. I've even read about a guy who offers his new playstation 3 ,which he payed 1700 $, for just 1$. There is just one catch - you have to write to Santa and say how good you were troughout past year. The console is already released in US, Canada and Asia. Europe and Australia will have to wait till March for it. Originally Sony said that they were going to pre-install Linux on Playstation 3, but current units shipping do not include Linux pre-installed. PS3 runs on a 3,2 GHz processor made by Sony, Toshiba and IBM. It also has 256 MB of DRAM memory. The GPU is based on the NVIDIA GeForce 7 Series G70 architecture. So the conclusion is that Playstation3 is a powerfull little gadget and a perfect Christmas present if you live in US or Asia.
